At Epiphany Episcopal Church, our ministries are how we live out our faith and serve one another. Whether through Worship, Service, Education, Evangelism, Pastoral Care, Stewardship, or Communication and Technology, each ministry plays an important role in building up our church and reaching out to the wider community. There’s a place for everyone to get involved, grow spiritually, and use their gifts to make a meaningful difference.
Service

Epiphany Episcopal Church is committed to serving others with compassion and care within our church family and throughout the Danville community.
We are actively involved in:

God’s Storehouse (providing food to those in need).

House of Hope (supporting our local homeless shelter).

Disciple Dinners & Lunches (sharing meals with those who are hungry).

Blessing Bags (offering essentials to those facing hardship).

CROP Walk (walking to fight hunger locally and globally).

Fostering Children at Christmas (sharing joy through holiday gifts).

Coffee Hour & Averett Welcome (building relationships and hospitality).
WORSHIP

Worship is at the heart of life at Epiphany Episcopal Church. Through liturgy, music, and meaningful participation, we honor God and create space for spiritual connection and reflection.
Ways our members take part in worship include:

Liturgy & Worship Committee (planning and supporting our services).

Altar Guild (preparing sacred spaces and vessels).

Vergers, Acolytes, Torchbearers, Flagbearers, Thurifers, Crucifers, and Gospellers (assisting in the flow and symbolism of worship).

Readers & Chalice Bearers (sharing Scripture and Holy Communion).

Choir (leading the congregation in music and song).
-
Ushers & Greeters (welcoming all with warmth and hospitality).

LEMs & LEVs (licensed Eucharistic Ministers and Visitors who help serve Communion and bring it to those unable to attend in person).
EDUCATION

At Epiphany Episcopal Church, we believe growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Our education programs offer opportunities for learning, reflection, and deepening our understanding of God’s Word.
Our educational offerings include:

Inquirer's Class (for those new to the Episcopal Church or preparing for confirmation).

Church-Based Tutorial Program (supporting students in academic growth.

Evangelism

Evangelism at Epiphany Episcopal Church is about sharing Christ’s love through welcome, hospitality, and connection. We strive to make everyone feel seen, valued, and invited into our church family.
Our evangelism efforts include:

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care at Epiphany Episcopal Church is rooted in compassion, presence, and support during life’s challenges and transitions.

LEMs (Licensed Eucharistic Ministers assisting with Communion during worship and offering spiritual support).

LEVs (Licensed Eucharistic Visitors bringing Communion and comfort to those unable to attend church).

Bereavement & Grief Group (providing a safe space for healing and hope after loss).
Stewardship

Stewardship at Epiphany Episcopal Church is about faithfully caring for the gifts God has given us our time, talents, and resources.
